This webinar will focus on how to ensure that the athlete’s fuel tank is full prior to the game and how to refill after and in preparation for the next game. Nutrition can’t create great performance but quality and quantity of what the athlete consumes can definitely impact performance.
About the Presenter: Karen Watson
Karen Watson is working with the Canadian Curling Association National Team Program as the Health and Doping Control Consultant. This involves assisting athletes to understand doping control rules and procedures, monitoring the CCES online education program and reviewing their health and wellness in preparation for national, world and Olympic competitions.
Certified Coaches will receive one (1) Professional Development credit towards their NCCP Maintenance of Certification.
