2018-2019 Quest for Gold – DRAFT list of Ontario Card Nominations Announced

The Ontario Curling Council is pleased to announce a draft list of athletes and alternates who have been nominated for Ontario Cards under the 2018-2019 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (OAAP). The athletes nominated were selected using the sport specific selection criteria developed by the Ontario Curling Council and applied by (the) Selection Committee. 2019 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program Released

The 2019 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program has been released by the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Sport.  The program which is administered by the Ontario Curling Council is now accepting applications in three categories: Training to Compete 2 – Age 21-24 (2 Half Male Cards, 2 Half Female Cards) Training to Win – Age 25-29 (3 Full Male Cards, 3 Full Female Cards) Wheelchair (2 Full Male Cards, 2 Full Female Cards) Application deadline is February 4, 2019 at 12:00

The Ontario Curling Council (OCC) is pleased to administer the 2017-2018 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (QFG-OAAP) for curling athletes on behalf of Ontario’s Ministry of Tourism Culture and Sport (MTCS).  Quest for Gold’s overarching goal is to increase the performance and number of Ontario athletes competing at the highest national and international levels, thereby contributing to the improved performance of Canada at international competitions.  Athletes are to be trending towards National Team Program “calibre” within the
