Next Generation Program – Regional Talent ID Camps

In anticipation of a continued Next Generation Program for the 2016-2017, program criteria will require applicants to have participated in one of seven (7) Regional Talent ID Camps.

  • Camps are open to curlers who are eligible to curl in juniors or bantams next year, and will be classified as either U21 or U18.
  • Curlers may attend as individuals or as a team.
  • Coaches are welcome, and Coach Professional Development opportunities will be available at all camps. Coaches should follow specific registration link below Table.
  • Each camp will deliver similar agendas.
  • Curlers will perform a series of skill-based tests, under the observation of provincial coaches who will be assessing technique, attitude, coach-ability, competitive knowledge, team dynamics.
  • Skill development will occur in the areas, of line of delivery, release and rotation, brushing, team systems and strategy.
  • All curlers will be provided with a “report card” at the completion of the camp, with recommended areas of improvement.
  • Lunch or dinner will be provided at each event.
  • Please note: ENTRY TO CAMPS IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. IF A CAMP IS OVER-SUBSCRIBED YOU MAY BE ASKED TO MOVE TO ANOTHER DATE/CAMP; ie. REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ENTRY.

Cost to attend:  $35.00/individual (applicable to both coaches and athletes)
